Truck prices in Canada? Or CN scammers?

Truck prices in Canada? Or CN scammers?
I've got my 2008 Duramax diesel Chevy for sale on this site and ebay. Oddly enough, I've had at least five interested 'buyers' from Canada asking about it. I'm in Texas, not even close to Canada.
So, my question is this: Are trucks that much more expensive to buy in Canada? Why would someone in Canada want a truck all the way down in Texas, when there are several states North of here with identical trucks available?
Are these guys potential scammers or something? Whats the deal?

Nineball, ive had numerous friends drive down to texas, tennesee and florida from here to buy cars. Im from philly and yes cars and trucks are pretty damn expensive compared to the same car or truck the states and with the Cad dollar almost on par, its a no brainer to drive down and save thousands of dollars easily. Crap corvettes brand new retail for 20k more.

And another reason as well, besides the price difference, is that used vehicles from down in the southern states are often in better condition then here, because of the snow and salt in our winter.

I know alot of people who purchased vehicles in Texas recently, with the way our Dollar is and the abundance of nice vehicles down there, people seem to gladly pay the 1000-1500 shipping charges.

That is only true if you live on the beach, or maybe 1-2 miles from it. Takes a lot longer for salt air to rot a car than salt on the ground. I'm talking several years for a beach resident car to start rotting. Relatively newer cars should be fine, say less than 5 yrs old.

I just bought a Titan from there. It should be home in a few hours. I paid 26,995US-27,829can. It is a 07 LE crew w/10k miles, retails new here for around 50k. It has about 8k in rims/rubber/lift. So I am in good shape $ wise.
Nineball, pm me your truck details. I have a friend who wants one. Knowing you, the truck is probly about as good as one can get.

I have a friend in Alberta with a 05? Duramax, and I was surprised how much it cost him. When you throw in the current value of the Canadian dollar, it might become worth driving it back from Texas.

Here is my ebay ad. The truck hit reserve already....by a Canadian.
Still a few more days left on the auction.

Hmmm... I'm having my doubts about this buyer so far. He didn't contact his bank with full details until after he won the truck. That, and he is from PEI, which is not even close to Texas.
No deposit received yet either....almost 48 hrs. Just a couple email messages.
