I've been scouting around for potential good meeting spots,
so far my fav is the one near Scotiabank Place 417 and Terry Fox
Pros:
-Sunoco is conviently located there
-Food
-Lots of parking
-close to highway
Cons:
-1 exit away from OPP station
-Construction on the 417
-no lights on highway make for interesting drive
Plaza at Hunt Club and Bank
-Food
-CHEAP sunoco nearby (well depends on their mood, but usually cheaper than the rest of Ottawa
-Lots of parking
Merivale south of meadowlands (rockwood Mall? area)
-Rockin Johnny's has awesome grilled chicken sandwich
-The best buy parking lot has lots of space
-Future shop parking lot has lots of space
-Other food spots
Woodroffe and Baseline
-parking
-some food
-bleh
417 and Innes Road
-parking
-misc food
-Sunoco station
Looking for more spots...

Does anyone know of a good spot to do some donuts? I needed to vent some steam this morning and yadi-yada my co-workers were not impressed this morning. Looking for a big paved area with no light poles.

Looks like it might rain anyways. Damnit.
Also looks like the wife might want to go out to dinner...hmm...maybe Red Lobster?!
Mac...No parking lots really come to mind other than the Scotiabank place.
A word to the wise though, if you're going to do donuts there, get in and get out quickly.

Anyone planning on going to Hazeldean this Tuesday (Sept. 9) night?
Also I see from the Kanata Cruise Night site http://www.kanatacruise.ca/ they have an all day car show planned for next Sunday.
That would be a good time to get all the Ottawa f-bodies together as well.
