Default *New personal best tonight*

Well, went with the more aggressive timing, from 32 i went to 35 and had the initial at 14 and now it is 20, comes into 35 by 1000 and it feels better, dips to 33 between 4 and 6k.

Best time was 8.0 even

Best MPH was 93

Still **** 60 foot, 2.0/1.9, wheel hopping and pedaling every pass.

Over all, i am glad i picked up some power and a bit of ET, AWESOME, was sure she had a touch more in here, hopefully i will get the suspension in check, go back and launch hard and eliminate the wheel hop.

Yea, the ET is nothing special, but the MPH speaks like it is making some nuts, so i am happy, it is a street car not a drag car, so i accept it is out of its element, my buddies nova goes 7.5 and i murder him on the street WAY before the 1/8th mile(top of third).

Nice results, congrats!
The MPH is good for mid 7"s and high 11's if you can get the 60ft to 1.60's.

Nice times what are the specs on your engine. I know its a 6.0. Is it iron or aluminum block. Cam? heads? Vehicle weight? I am thinking about carbed ls1 for my 68 camaro. Car is already set-up with a 2 speed power glide and a stall and 4.56 gear 12 bolt. May put the ls1 in and carb it and save some money.

Thanks, it is about 3600 with me in it, 4.30 gears with a T56 built by LMR, engine is a stock LQ4 iron block with a Trex cam, Vic Jr intake, MSD 6010, 750 DP pro form carb, stock 317 heads milled .030.

Carb is the way to go on a budget, tune it yourself, when and where you want.

It was Phils car, he had slicks and i had bald Nittos, so yea, gave him the move and reeled him in, he says it was after the quarter mile by the time i caught him, but it was not marked, and either way, i still caught his 5.0 with no problem besides the 3 second 60 foot, LOL.

Cam and bolt on 302 with P heads and what not. T5 with 4.10 gears.
