Default Whos runnin the Super victor

In process of a build and ready to order my intake
I see alot of people using the Vic Jr but wondering
If the super Vic would be better..cam is most likely eps single plane or custom pat g..

if you plan on turning really high rpm I could see it being a benefit. If you plan on not running a huge stall or big rear gears I'd stick with the vic jr

Vic Jr is good to 600hp according to Edelbrock's website. If you are under that you should be fine.

Thanks to all for the replys.. I should be spinning to at least 7k. Not to sure how big the gear will get tho while I'm planning on running a shot.. A couple of my efi buddies say that the jr sucks but that's on the efi manifold.
Thanks again

I am running a vic jr on my current motor and it supports my 605hp to the wheels. It's a stock bottom end 6.0L with TEA ported 853 heads and a 228r cam with a 200 shot. My next motor will have a super vic.

can't find anyone who has bolted both onto their car without changing anything else and reporting results....so I just took a shot in the dark basically.

the super victor is the better choice everytime. the only reason to run the jr. is for hood clearance.

I had a stock carbed LS2 in a 3100lb. Mustang, and took my Vic jr, and swapped my buddies Super victor on for giggles, and the car went 3 tenths & 5mph faster. needless to say he never got his intake back.... I bought him a new one....

did you do this on the same track/day? if not, please go back and look at what the DA was on both days, so we can get a true assessment of the actual gains. cause if you made the pass with the vic jr on a hot greasy day with marginal traction and the pass with the super vic in negative DA conditions with 100% traction then it's not a great comparison test. thanks
