Default Lq4 402 stroker build

Hey guys finally got all my parts in for my stroker build wanted to see what everyone thought and projected number here it is

2000 z28
Lq4 block eagle 402 stroker kit
Thunder racing pushrods
Comp cams dual springs and retainers
Wcch stage 3 l92s
Thunder racing custom cam 24x/25x .6xx/.6xx 112 lsa
Mast 4150 carbed intake manifold
1000 cfm pro systems carb
Ultra 40 race wire
Mezire ep
Ls2 double roller
Tsp potted ls6 oil pump

Should be a potent combo the car has a coan th400 with a 4000 stall, 12 bolt 4.10s qa1 adjustable suspension, sub fram connectors, bmr tubular k member got her down to about 3100 lbs let me know what you guys think I'll be posting pics and a video of the finished motor

Well, driving around on a 5500 stall im sure would fry the trans.

That's a nice build...I was hoping to build a similar engine for my truck later this year. I bet that monster is gonna run low 10's or better.

My convertor stalls @ like 5100 and I have no issues powerglide and 456's in a 2800lb truck tho. Plus my trans cooler is as big as my radiator and has a fan on it...

Yea I'm shootin for real low tens and won't be drivin too much on the round just to a few local tracks but I haven't seen the combo I'm doin pretty excited about it the guys at thunder racing are awesome too can't say enough about em

Curious as to what u guys think about how much horse this thing will put out , oh yea no a/c or power steering

Your only thinking 520 rwhp ? I know my rear and tranny will take some power but my stage 3 heads are flowing crazy and the mast is feedin the l92s some serious air Im hoping for at least 550 min

I would not be surprised if it hit 550rw. But that drivetrain is gonna absorb some Hp/tq. It will def take it's cut. But it should really pump out more on race gas tune.
Take it to the track without accessories, remote or e-wp on 16v batt and race gas. Watch that **** fly

Yea, i agree, 525 give or take depending on tune and dyno, that is the kicker, now track numbers will tell the truth.
