Default PLEASE HELP! LS1 still missing!!!

Ok, make a long story short...Carbd LS1, MSD 6010.

Had a dead hole on #3. Swapped coils with #1, miss stayed on #3
Swapped harnesses from odd to even bank.
Dead hole moved to #6
Ordered a pair of harnesses from a guy on here.
Miss moved to #4 but stayed on even bank with the other harnesses.
Sent back the MSD 6010 complete.
Put on new 6010 complete kit (box, harness, etc...)
Fired up and still has a miss on #4.

It is firing now but missing. OK!!! Now what? Bad crank or cam sensor? I'm lost!!! Please help!

Shawn

No kidding. Compression is great on all cyl, spark plugs great, coil packs, doesn't seem to matter which one I swap to that cyl it missfires

Also it doesn't matter which coil harness I swap, since I have two extra, the misfire has found a home on #3 and it won't leave!!!!

Plug wires were new from Oreillys, not the best on the market, but... The miss started on 4, changed to 5, then to 3. And has stayed on 3 with two different boxes, two different box harnesses, and two different sets of coil harnesses. I am only repeating this because it's such a mess to me tht even I get confused about what the miss has done. When the whole thing started (4) it didn't light that cyl at all! Once it moved to the odd bank (5) that hole was dead also, then it moved to (3) ad started to work but is missing. And still missing as we speek. Those other header primaries were dead cold to touch but now (3) will get warm, but the cyl is popping so it seems like its hitting maybe every other time??? Crap! I have a headache!!!

New plugs, new wires, second new MSD 6010, charging at 14.5 volts....still has a slight miss on the odd bank. #3 is lighting now, but seems to still have a very slight miss. Thoughts?

Plugs looked good after running at 2000 rpm for 5 min, the car is not ready for the road yet so that's the best I could do. Just wanted to get some heat built up. Plug gaps good, coil connections good, added an extra ground from one of the bolts in the valley cover to the body and a direct cable from the negative post of batt. I do need new o rings for the intake, the fel pro gaskets I have are older and have been re used a couple times, but that shouldn't have any affect on why the cyl was dead (no spark at all). Keep in mind, it is firing now on all cyl but every now and then I can hear a slight pop or a muffled sound coming from the header on the odd bank. Compression is also perfect. The only other thing I could think of is maybe I need to re torque the rockers? But they aren't making noise. I did have them apart when I changed head gaskets during an engine inspection before I installed it.

It may. Doesn't act like it. That would not cause a misfire and dead cyl to move from one side of the engine to the other.
