Default Msd box

So I apologize if this is a dumb question. I am converting a 5.3 to a 5.7 motor. I am going to carb this motor. I'm trying to see what msd model # to use for this setup. Are there a lot of different models I can use? I know nothing about these msd boxes. Also any input on where to find a good one would help as well. I hear these are sold with intakes, but I already have an intake, so all I need is the msd. Thanks for the help.

Are you looking to run a Carb? Looking for timing control? The 6010 is available separatly and work on any 24 tooth reluctor wheel engine, and allow the use of a carb or just to control timing. It is fully programmable with a Computer to allow custom ignition control.

The MSD 6010 is for the 24 tooth reluctor wheel, and the MSD 6012 is for the 58 tooth reluctor wheel. Thats the quick and dirty. Eric L
