Carb and manifold recommendations?
Hey, I am ditching th EFI for the old school look and Tunning ease. I have a LQ9 with a comp Xr-275-hr cam (224/224 112 ls) its in a 67 nova with a t56 mag trans and 3:50 gears. Motor makes 410hp to the rear wheels. I am thinking dual plane with a 750 mechanical secondary Quick Fuel. What say you? Cam pulls from 1800- 6800 rpm Thanks...

I will be running a Holley 4150 750 cfm carb on an Edlebrock. I looked at the QF and Proforms but they are basically a Holley with anodized metering blocks and way more expensive.

The quick fuels and proforms have added tuning capabilities (like screw in air bleeds and PVCR's), things that often need to be adjusted for a carb to work well with an LS motor. If you buy an old school double pumper you may needed to drill out these orifices and make your own screw in restrictors. Plus the quick fuels have teflon throttle shaft bushings, stainless butterflys, progressive secondary linkages and a secondary idle screw that is adjustable from the top. I had to modify my 4150 to a QF baseplate (the Holley unit was sticky) and my own screw in restrictors to get the tuning I needed. it would have been cheaper to get the QF in the first place.
And with your Nova I would go single plane. With an LS motor you will still have plenty of low-mid range torque and won't be compromising your top end should you go up in cam.
