Default what do i need to buy for swap ?

I recently bought a 08 LY6, I am trying to figure out if i am going carb or efi .... The engine did Not come with the wiring harness and stock ecm.... It did come with coils though. Will i need factory harness and computer if i go MSD box ?

From this point what do i need to make it run correctly? it will be mated to a Th400 Fyi and i am planning a cam swap prior to install. will likely run a 4:88-5:13 gear with 35-37" offroad tire

No computer or harness needed with the MSD. Jegs sells a kit so your th400 will bolt up. All you need is an intake and carb to run the MSD.

Awesome ! That's what i was hoping for. Even if mounted in cab with vibration type rubber mounts, am i going to have issues with vibration and a msd box ? I see some of you run 6010 or 6LS ?

The 6010 is the 6LS, the 6LS-2 is the 6012, 6010 is for 97-2004 or 5, then the later is the 6012, that if for 06 up, identified with the crank sensor, the black is 6010, the gray is 6012.

You can mount it anywhere, the rubber mounts are good, i have mine on two of the swaps i have done on the engine itself.
