Default Open or Closed exhaust??

I have a carb setup on my ls6.. I have AFR heads and a pretty aggressive cam. Im about to install an exhaust system and debating if I should even run cut outs?? I seen some numbers where open systems do make more peak power, but loose low end torque. Issue with those numbers is that they dynoed older motors... I couldnt find any numbers with an LS series. What do you guys think would be better. Right now the cars open, sounds nice n crisp, but waaaaay too loud. Cant sneak out at night with out the wife waking up. Any input would be greatly appreciated. gratzi

I have a cutout and love the convenience of adjusting the sound. You cannot go wrong with it IMO. Would only consider the electric ones for even more convenience.

For a Street car you gotta get both banks together to promote scavenging whether it be an H, X, Y to a single or a "Beaudacious" X they have to help each other out. Plus getting them together cuts down on alot of noise so you can creep around without the cops or your wife bugging you
