pro's and cons on this switch

I have a bone stock motor in my mustang right now,,im thinkin of buyin a asa hot cam,, and puttin on these 799 heads and do some mildly port work on them and cut 30 thou off them too,,, what u think on this setup,, remember im not wantin to turn no more than 6500at most... i foot brake this car every week... im leaving right at 2000 it flashes to 3400 right of the bat and shift at 6000 right now,,, i have glide and 4.88 gear so it revs quick... i dont want to fly cut pistons right now too....i think this cam range is from 3000 to 6500..and i know this is an old style cam what u guys think..

Think that bastard will still be happier spinning 6800-7000. Just do what I did. Get a Trex. If you have a lq4 it will fit fine. That's what I had with .040 milled off the heads. Not PTV issues and spins to 7k makin power all the way from 3500. You will not be disappointed. Your 799s will work fine milled.

The trex. 242/248, .610 .615 lift on a 110 LSA. Popular and potent grind.
