I had a similar problem. I replaced the ground/positive harness and she fired right up. I keep a spare 6010 in the trailer now since I've had 2 go bad. As bad as I hate to say it, I think I'm going distributor on my 408

That's just nuts, I have had the one on the mustang for 6 years and never skipped a beat until I sprayed it when cleaning under the hood of the camaro. It banged and popped a couple days and has been fine. Lol

Still on backorder?? What the hell kinda horseshit is that??

I think I would be about upside down livid over that ****. Someone would be walking with a limp from the *** chewing I would be giving over them not doing the warranty return while it was there the first time around... You would just about be better off to go ahead and order a new setup from jegs/summit and when the new box comes in have it and your original harness as a backup/emergency setup. Just make sure you get the box and harness both..

My box has been working fine but I still find it utterly inexcusable that we are stuck with these yahoos who not only can't get their act togeather but struggles to produce a product with connectivity not from the 1980's.

This goes beyond an inconvenience when you have a €^¥{_ vehicle out of commission because of a BACKORDER? Really?

Try www.skspeed.com. They had mine in stock at a much better price than Summit or Jegs. Refunded me for the first bad one I bought as well. Excellent service!

You are missing what his purpose is zone, he is only going to have it until his replacement arrives, then he will return it for a refund. That is all he is wanting it for.

Ok so i got a new box and still no fire. I even put on the new harness and nothing!!! The box communicates with computer and all voltages are good. I cannot figure this out!!!! I just replaced the new crank sensor to make sure that wasnt it. What else could cause this?? I pulled plugs and cranked for 10 seconds and Moved the ground. I verified the relucter wheel is still there lol.

Have you double checked other things float levels, fuel pump's working, cam sensor, 1,3,5,7 is connected to 1357 coil paks. What's the voltage reading while cranking the engine. The crank sensor is the right one. You know sometimes the little things will lend to

Its not getting spark. Sensors are new. Coil pack connections are correct. Voltage is fine.

May have already been said...but...add another ground from motor to frame and frame to body ?
I had an issue a few years back where the ground wire from the motor to frame came loose and would loose spark at plugs.

Im thinking about setting another battery in the cab and hooking straight to it so the voltage wont drop and the ground couldnt get any better

I have had my truck's voltage drop to 10.9 at cranking and it still fired up and ran...

This is just a real stumper of a problem.

Maybe all of your coil packs went on strike at the same time??

Just a suggestion here, but go thru and double check all your fuses by pulling them out and putting them back in. Also make sure all your connections to the fuse block are still intact and in good shape. Check that none of them are loose or accidentally pulled off.

Maybe I need to sell you my 5.3? It appears to be about bulletproof for running.. so far.
