Default Would this work or anyone tried

I just spent the whole day with my buddy that switched to a carb set up trying to get the tach to work and the trans to shift nothing worked. But my question is why not run 2 cam sensors one for the msd box and the other for the pcm sense it doesn't like to share signals then at least the tach would work. I said something to him about it and he just looked at me stupid.

Is there a place for 2 can sensors? And can the cam do that, I mean is there 2 places on the cam for sensors to read? I don't know I am asking.

Well if you have an ls1 set up you could run the original cam sensor in the back for the msd then swap the front timing cover to an ls2 which has the cam sensor in the front and run the car to that after flipping and extending the wires just my thinking after a couple of beers

The factory tach is what I assume you mean? Won't work without the ECM.
