Default stock 5.3 650 dp help

Stock. 5.3 with 650 does runs good just when cruising at 3k and I stomp on iit.it just feels kinda doggish almost like a flat spot.not sure if I should step up my secondary squirters have 28s front n rear and 72 79 jets any help plz...I'd post my timing curve but don't no how with the mobile site

I would go at least 31's and play with the pump cams after if the problem persists. You may need to go even higher. These motors like a healthy shot, I have never had a carb ls motor that I didn't need at least 31's.

does it rev clean if you whack the throttle open from an idle?

Well popped off primary bowl and found out the power valve was blocked off but after installing a 9.5 tower valve because my idle vacuum is 18 inches seems to run better but still has a bog and a stumble also noticing a stumble pulling out of a turn.35s front and rear fixed that.but looked at horse ^^^ wrappeds post on his specs can u give me any does or fonts since I'm basically building replica of ur s10 and suggestions on can or RU happy with 220
