Default new best!

The DA was incredibly low this weekend, the kind of air that i've only ever dreamed about at -1400'. and boy did it come in handy this weekend i also think it liked the 4.56's and taller tire over the 4.30's with the 26" tire. shift point was 7300, trap rpm was 7200. i'd like to go through the traps just a little higher, but this gives me a little room to go with another mph or so faster if i can get a little more weight off the car.

if that link goes dead, the pass was:

60'-1.394
330'-4.199
660'-6.537
MPH-??? (i'd guess somewhere around 105, the clocks in the left lane were messed up)
1000'-8.551
1320'-10.255
MPH-133.10

had a high mph of 134.39 and a second 10.25 pass as well. it's getting there

The mullets were out in force too there were probably 20+ thirdgens there

Damn, sorry I didn't make it.
Hooked up to trailer, pulled out of the garage....and BAM ! stomach cramps....to the bathroom .......it hit the fan.
Go back to truck...whoops...back upstairs.
Put car away and drank half a bottle of Pepto....laid on couch or sat on the toilet the rest of the day.

Congrats on the new bests

video. 5 passes, all have slow motion of the launch right after the pass. i can see we need to do some work still. need to tighten up compression for sure. maybe a longer torque arm?

this is the new Monster LT1-S twin disc clutch btw. This is supposed to hit softer than the level 3 i have, yet because of it's twin disc design should hold the power as easily or better than my level 3. i'm very excited to get it into the car. planning to put the car on stands this week with the suspension loaded to begin my measurements and calculations. i'm going to see if the torque arm is infact too short, or if other things can be changed to correct it. i'm even contemplating modifying my existing arm instead of buying something completely new. i'm wondering if i can extend the arm and make the front mount height adjustable, if i can get it to calm the hit down.

Awesome work. Looks like some suspension tweeking away from low 1.3xx

That should be close to 9.9xx or need 135 mph

well, on paper, 134mph is good for 9.86 fully optimized. i believe 9.86 is way too lofty for my street car type configuration, but i believe 9.99 is achievable.

unfortunately that beastly truck in my sig isn't mine. nobody would make me one, so I did the best I could to make my own in paint lol. let me rephrase that your time slips make me hate my truck's track times. here is my red wagon. fixing to be a matte anthracite metallic wagon.

the color I chose to go with:

Sure is show how a motor can shine when everything is right. Struggling to get my trans right and then I'll swap gears. And at this point in thinking heavily on a LS3 if everything goes as I wish it would.
