Default How to run Stock electric G.M. fan setup ??

So we have are 5.3 motor swap done and are looking at fans . After checking into the after market it either very cheap or very expensive . So I start looking at a duel fan setup from RocKAuto G.M. fans are cheap when compare to good after market brands .

So my question is what is needed to run a duel electric G.M.fan on a carbed motor in a non computer application ?

I bought a dual fan setup from a early 2000 camaro at a local Pull-A-Part for 28 bucks. Simple toggle switch ran thru a relay.

I would like it to run through a relay and not a manual switch and have it turn on and off at like 170* to 185* just need to know what G.M. parts to buy . Also would like to stay all G.M. if possible .

Hey 73 I would go on ebay and type in electric fans temp control, you should find something there. it probably wont be gm but it's only a temp switch. mine comes on at 180 off 170 there are even variable ones good luck brother

I tried to stay simple on my setup. I am running Dorman C5 Corvette replacement fans, And a Imperial fan controller with a temperature probe that slides between the radiator fins. Its advertised to come on at 185, and I have never seen my temp gauge get above 200 in Florida traffic. Its been like this for 2yrs and 8500 miles without any issues.
