72 nova LQ4 Trans question how are you guys that are using an OD trans like a 4l60 or 80 or even a 700r4 controlling them when mating them to a carb'd lsx motor?
doing a lq4 swap in my 72 nova and have a th350 or th400 I could use but mainly because I didn't know how difficult it would be using a 4l60 or 4l80 being that the motor isn't computer controlled anymore?

They do make a stand alone controller for trans.
