Carbed/Cammed Stock 5.3
We have been meaning to offer a package for a while now to upgrade the 5.3/LM7 in the 1999-2007 Chevy Trucks. After kicking around a few cams/companies we went with a Comp suggestion that worked out very nicely. We tested this build with a Quick Fuel HR-680cfm / Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake and we will run our EFI system on it soon, but results should be the about the same. She made over 400HP/TQ on a few pulls, but we will rate her at 385HP/395TQ. With a vic Jr and a double pumper im sure she would be good for 415+HP/TQ. Nice power from a cam/spring upgrade.
Yes, she did this on 6 cylinders too!!!! lol, took the picture as we were setting her up.

HP97 on the way
OK ATK I just ordered my hp97 from Summit and am beginning to replace my hydrolocked ls1 long block with it.
Its going in my 98 TA, with a t56 and Im going to do for now the stock externals and the hp tuner mpvi to get the tune right.
Im not adding headers since my ultimate goal is to go turbo next year, so it will be interesting to see what performance I will get with the setup as it will be for now.
Ill tune then break in then dyno locally so I will share those numbers and info too.
Any input youd like to add since the original post here that may be relevant?
Thanks!
