Default Single or dual plane manifold?

I have a couple of questions and or opinions for you guys, I have a lq4 stock bottom end, 700r4 trans 3500 stall, 3.73 gear, headers, 750 carb, 231/237 @50, stock 243 heads. I don't have a manifold yet and I'm not sure if I need to get a single or dual plane manifold and I know that lq4's with 317's the compression like 9.5 but I don't know what it will be with the 243's so should I have my 243's milled or just leave them alone? My car is just a weekend cruiser that I will be taking to the track for some occasional runs as well. I also plan to plan to do some highway driving to various car shows, cruises, and tracks as well. Thanks in advance for any and all feedback because I'm edgar to learn something new.

I did some testing. At the time, my car had a 3000 stall and weighed #3700+. The car ran harder with the Victor Jr over the Performer RPM. The 60' was about 3-5 hundredths quicker with the Performer RPM, but after that, the Victor Jr. was faster.

Speedtigger thank you for your input, 3-5 hundredths is not that much imo. Do you think I should leave the heads alone or have them milled?

If you are not fly cutting valve reliefs and the heads have not been milled before, I probably would not mill any more than .015" myself.

Ok thanks I might just leave them be. If I don't mill them do you know where my compression will be?
