Default Should I buy or build it?

Im looking for 600+-650hp LS. I have a running LQ4 but needs to be gone through or should I buy stroker engine complete? This will be a cruiser. I currently have a LS1 carbed, its ok but not 650hp ok...lol

Right now my cam is 595/605 113+4 idle is nice. I see some of these crate motors that make 650hp with 650"+ cams, that should not be a big deal bigger?

Lift has basically nothing to do with it. Duration combined with LSA is the deciding factor on idle quality and street-ability of the engine, and ICL will also have an effect on this as well.

Whether you go crate or build what you have now really comes down to what works best for you and your budget, the later is always my main concern.

I was thinking, its always cheaper to build your own but these builders to have warranties from what im seeing. Anyone around here have a street driven car with around this HP. If so how do you like driving around town?

Is building really always cheaper? Will leave it up to you to decide that.
