Default Th400 with a 99-2000 long crank

Ok apparently my new short has a 1999-2000 lq4 long style crank in the rear where the flex plate mounts. Running a th400. Ran the th400 on an ls1 with a dish stock flywheel then ran the little converter snout extender. Ls1's are shorter in the rear.

To my understand I'll will no longer need the converter snout extender

But what flex plate do I run?

And will my starter from a 2000 camaro work or are truck starters different???

I think just a flat flex and you're good to go. Be sure to check the converter fits into the crank before you get too far along. AFAIK, any starter will work...

Everything I have found says you will be good to go. I have one of the same long crank lq4's. I think with no spacer and the stock 6.0 flexplate you will be pimpin. If the converter has 1/4 or 3/8 inch space between it and the flexplate when the trans is bolted on its all good. If it's jammed up all tight then ***** not right.
