How big is Martins stage 2 cam? What are you going to do with the car ? If its a drag car period, Jr all the way. If its a street car with little to no track time, there is an argument for the dual plane, but not a real big one (argument, that is). With a converter that truly stalls around 3600, you will be blowing through a good bit of that TQ meat the dual plane offers.
Id say vic jr with the old reliable 750 DP.

The Holley is cheaper and comes with its own hardware ? I looked at the magazine head to head intake test and the super victor and victor jr both made more peak horsepower but less torque and when it came to average hp and tq across the board the Holley was right there with it and even out performed the victors no more that what you're doing I'd save a few dollars and go with the Holley ,

Read on this forum I believe, the Holley is poorly made . I'm also shopping for cam/ intake/headers for a LQ4/4l80e carb swap into a 70 Chevelle .. have a new holley 850 worked over from AED been on the garage shelf for 5 plus years , lol, put it to some good use .. Victor Jr for me !

I think the first Holley intakes that came out might have been sub-par , but I just got one in last week and the quality looks just as good as the vic jr I use to have. I ordered the one I have purely because its so short and will help keep my blow-through set-up under my cowl hood. I had not done any research on its quality or performance when I ordered it, so I didn't know it was suppose to be junk. I was pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the box. The gasket O-ring slots are centered up nicely and there doesn't seem to be any major porosity issues.
On the obvious note of it being made in China, I would rather buy American when possible, but since none of the American intake manufacturers offer a low rise single plane and I don't have the funds for a new, taller hood, I had to buy what I needed.
