Default Edelbrock ls1 msd computer

Sorry if I have started a new thread or what I am super confused! (Newbie)
So I recently added the combo intake kit from edelbrock with their msd box. I haven't done much experimenting with the chips but it seems like it would be a waste of time. Being I don't necessarily have a stock engine, (a lot of head work, big cam and small bore) so did I totally screw up by buying this one and not the 6010?? I want to spray also. Right now I know it's not at full potential of what my engine can do

Knowing what little I do about the Edelbrock unit...yes, not the best choice.
MSD 60XX units are programmable (pills or program)....the Edelbrock is not (uses pills only)...but IF you do buy a box to run your combo, I would look into the Daytona unit....IF I was to do it over (or if this MSD box dies) This is the way I'd go
