carb ly6 options Hello I'm new to the site and to the world of Ls motors and I just bought a 2008 ly6 out of a chevy express van and it is going into my 91 chevy c1500 shortbed and I was wondering would a carbed ly6 would be a good choice or should i stick with the stock efi i was looking for around 430-500 fwhp

I have a carbed lq4 in my 92 Sierra short wheelbase and love the **** out of it. Carb vs efi is really about what you are comfortable with. If you know how to tune a carb it is a nice and easy setup. I used my stock fuel cell and pump. Your HP goals would be very easy to reach. Headers and cam and you're there. Let me know if you need any advice on the swap I know these trucks well.

Is there any cam you recommend? the truck had 4.11 gears when I bought it the guy said it was a drag truck before. I also have the 4l80e transmission that came out of the van should I stick with that or go with a different transmission?
