max bore on 5.3

5.3 bored 3.898 is a standard bore ls1

how far can you take a 5.3 can you go 3.903 safely

has anyone pushed these limits?

You're only talking .005....I'm pretty sure you're safe.....A good hone could get you that.

But, as always, sonic check will tell you all you need to know.

3.90x is common as hell.

But the early 4.8/5.3s have gone to 4". Pretty crazy, but sonic testing is needed for sure that far out. Supposedly 4 out of 5 will go 4".
