Default Camshaft help or opinions

Ok this is my first LS build.
I have a drag car only and I am going to build a 5.3 carb setup on pump 91 gas. N/A.
My car is a 79 malibu that runs a glide 5200 stall, 4.56 gear, 28" slick, long tube headers, and will weigh 3000 with driver ready to run.
I have a Victor jr, 750 carb,243 heads and a 5.3 short block.
My goal is 400 to 425 at the crank.
This is a N/A set up and will NOT see boost or NOS.
What do you all recommend to get the job done or can it be done.
Need to do it with a 5.3 because of a claimer series I will be running.

Thanks for any advice or help.

Your best bet would be to contact any of the well known camshaft companies for a recommendation that will fit your specific setup and needs.

Just to mention a few....

If you plan on using the stock rocker arms, you definitely want to upgrade them with the improved trunion kit.

Thank you I have actually talked to 3 out 4 you have listed. I just wasn't sure if a factory cam would fit the bill or if I would need to go custom.

The camshaft that I suggested for you will do very nicely. Share some video of a few passes when you get it done.
