Default MSD6010/12 VS new MSD 6014 wiring

Aside from the built in MAP, coolant temp capability, gen3/4 compatibility in one box, data logging, individual cylinder timing, 6 pre set and 4 custom tunes all on a dial, as well as other great features. Here is what the wiring looks like.

On the left, you have the 6014 harness with the longest portion for the coils. The shorter wire to the right of the long coil wire harness is the primary extension that goes between the box and one of the two supplied harnesses for using a gen 3 or gen 4 engine.

On the right, you have a regular 6010 harness that is just lackluster to the new ignition.

For those wondering what the wiring difference is and have yet to get a chance, here is a pic for those curious minds.

I like that they separated it some Vs all-in-one bundle....easier routing.

It is vastly improved and as you can tell, no need for an extension. May be able to mount it so close you can swap the tunes from the driver seat pretty easily.
