May be trying out a Holley sniper system ..
So a friend of mine has a sniper system he bought for his car and told me I could try it out and if I liked it I could just buy him another as his car is not finished . I already have a tanks inc tank setup for FI but I chose to run a carb on my dual plane 243 headed lq4 with a 230/236 590/596 112 cam motion cam. Even know you all are carb guys what are your thoughts on this. I figure for 1000 bucks I'd never have to buy another carb if I went to a big motor and il keep my 6010 for my ignition of course .

I just put one on my 1985 El camino, although its a gen 1, they work great.
You need an unrestricted return to keep it down to 60 PSI of fuel pressure,
just plug in the engine specks they walk you thru, fire it up. You can dig further into the tuning if needed, but its pretty close as is. One little glitch was some idled faster than commanded, but simple to correct.

I've been running a Sniper setup on my 6.0 since February. It's a pretty neat little setup. The thing I like most about it is being able to switch back and forth between e85 and gas tunes. Super easy to set up and run with both fuels and overall very user friendly. My only complaints are that the throttle body whistles at certain throttle positions and you can hear the injectors firing. The other is that it's never really learned leaving from an idle or cruising under 2000-2200 rpm. My cam has a bunch of overlap and I had to deal with the reversion with my carbs as well, but you can't fine tune it with the handheld. There is a cable available now to laptop tune but honestly I'm going to just pull the trigger on an mpfi setup, likely ms3 pro.
