What I did was to be generous with the oil when installing onto the crankshaft. Be generous with the oil when I installed my pick up tube. Once it was all back together just prior to start up I would pull the fuel pump relay and disconnect the wire from each coil pack.
Then you will want to crank the motor over for 3-5 seconds, stop for 3-5 seconds and crank again for 3-5 seconds. Reinstall the fuel pump relay and connect your coils back up and start it up and look for oil pressure. It should come up right away but if you don't see any oil pressure shut it down. Just to be clear I disconnected the two white connectors on the wire harness from the coil packs.
