Default Intake Design = ITB

Hi TT, I agree with your view. (torque drop)

I cast/manufacture a 65mm (eight butterflies) ITB intake for LS-7 ("truck head") engines with flow of 5200CFM AND 9" tapered ram runners.
The bench testing of this intake shons little torque drop with the longer stroke engines.

I have no idea WHY one would create a small engine like that unless it was for Class Racing ?
My guess is the Salt Rules ?
I do know those rules are based on Liters with 369 being OVER 6 Liters ?

So I ask, "why this size "?

I also do not see the BSCF # ?
