when i was shopping for my car a few years ago i was lookingfor a Z28, i thought people wanted way too much for the SS's. i prefer the Z too because in my opinoin GM has really watered down the SS name. regarless both are great cars!

to the guy with a B4C leave it blank and make it a sleeper, keep it quiet and surprise some people

Definately put the Z28 badges on......you wouldnt want some dude in a cobalt or an impala or some other chevy braggin about his SS when it would get wooped by a camaro z28 or ss. Just too many SS models to put them on your car....Z28 came on one car only...camaro.

i respect the ss more... but it funny to see how it all started with the z/28 and how that was more powerful... but as time went on with the new body styles and performance wise everyone started turning to the ss. I respect both but when i pull up next to a z/28 in my ss i have no worrys about beating him!!

well, your 1st gen knowledge sucks. the Z28 was a handling package with a 302 i believe & the SS had an option for a 396BB. they were different cars for different things. dont be so arrogant over a badge. (and just to play your game, the 5th gen Z28 was going to be ALOT faster than the SS)

and im with those who say the SS badge has been watered down. im sorry, anything without an LS motor and RWD should never grace the SS badge, except that TBSS AWD, that things sick in either drive. antoher thing thats killing the SS badge, is (teenage) tools who think they are automatically faster. An LS1 is an LS1 is an LS1. once the mdoding begins, ti doesnt matter anymore, does it?

Let's keep on track. No need to debate what is a better car. The question was, Should he badge his car an SS.

My opinion, his car do what he wants.
