It's not hard especially if it's a 350 carb with a saginaw or T-5 manual trans. Problem is it's a COMPLETE waste of time and money as for what you'd spend on an engine, trans, and additional components like front springs, fuel lines, etc, would cost you more than if you went and bought a stock 350 TPI powered 87-90 IROC or 91-92 350 Z28. You could probably also swing a 93-95 Z28 with a 6spd for the same money.
Also in the end you'd never recover even half of what you had spent on it.
My advice, don't do it and look for a V8 powered (no 305s) 78-81 if you want carbureated, or 87-97 If you want fuel injection.
