Just wondering if this was a factory option for a 1998 Camaro SS Convertible? Any one have some more pictures of this combination, particularly in red?

Yes it was an option. The white leather was a carryover from the '97 30th Anniversary cars. GM had white leather leftover from '97 and just used it until they ran out. The '98 Brickyard 400 Pace Car was triple white (white body/white interior/white convertible top).
