Default lt1 to ls1 swap on 94 z28

ive done some searching but cannot seem to find my answer... looking at buying a cheappppp 94 z28 auto car with a bad motor and installing a ls1 into it how much work/money is this? im not familiar with the fbodys yet this will be my first project on one.. any info wether it be yes or no or discouraging is appreciated and if i missed it in my search im sorry! thanks in advance also will i need new harnesses and things like that? is this a nightmare project or easy...
all info appreciated

you might as well buy a v6 car and go at it from there. also how much money are you going to have for the project?

personally, if your going to buy a camaro with a LT1 i would go ahead and keep the motor and build it. you can get some serious tourque out of those motors and most parts are cheaper for them then the LS1. sure the LS1 may be a better motor but not good enough to junk the LT1

If you didn't buy the car yet, buy an LS1.

It costs alot for the swap; LS1 k-member, motor with all accessories, PCM and harness, LS1 steering rack& pinion. Getting the harness wired and getting LT1 dash to work with LS1 harness needs an adapter from Speartech. LT1 converter will not work with LS1 if it's A4.

Just to name a few.

THANKS! that is what i was noticing im going to start with a Ls1 car for sure at this point....

well my buddy has a black 98 camaro thats a roller for sale, allready has a wolfe minitub, bone stock roller. complete black leather interior. i think he wants $2500 obo. zip is 82001. just figured id throw that out there since we are already doing some dealing lol
