Default Progress on my street/strip 1972 Camaro SS

It's a 1972 Camaro SS that I got when I was 15 years old. My dad and I worked hard day and night transforming it from a stock turd into a decent street car. Well, we got it done, and it was out for a couple years, until something stuck inside of the trans, and all of the fluid came out the vent tube, and it caught the car on fire. It was burnt from the front seats foward. After it happened, the car kind of got put in the corner and forgotten about. It wasn't totalled, but it was just far enough gone, that there was no motivation of seeing it ever back together. Well, as of lately, I've been on a real kick to get it back together. It's been a father and son project from day one, so getting it back together means a lot to me.

Here's a couple before pictures.

And some AFTER the fire pictures.

The last couple nights, we've made some good progress getting it back together.

Thanks to Trigger's help, we got the motor back in, bolted the Coan TH400 and Continental converter up, and the trans lines done. We still have to wire the MSD tomorrow, and set the valves, then it should be ready to fire up.

Here's some pictures from last night/tonights progress.

The little 13.5:1 pistons

Crane 1.7 Roller Rockers

Holley 4500 style Dominator carb

New wheels 15x10 and 15x4 Weld Racing R/T wheels

And in case you wondered what the whole thing looked like

im glad to see your showing interest in the car to fix it up, it sucks it caught fire in the first place, is the car a full bumper car or its it a split bumper RS/SS?
