OP, If you like it fine but I have to agree one single tip right in the middle looks very odd to me. If you must have a single tip I'd say have it on left or right.
In response to the bottle thing, not everyone knows what an arming switch is and also it would help with traction as it is sitting over the rear.

Any fair amount of weight over the rear will aide in traction. It just serves a slightly better purpose then sticking it somewhere else if your going to be adding weight to the car. I think I also heard somewhere about weight being multiplied over the rear to a certain extent from acceleration. Some formula somewhere out there, not sure about it though...
And come on there is lines, straps, and brackets its more like 11lbs!!
