tremec trans in 99 camaro ls1?

So the older 98-2000 ls1 camaros m6,did they have tremec trans?

I know borg warner got bought out by tremec,but wasnt sure if by 99 they had a tremec.Its stamped tremec on the side of trans,anybody know?

when did they start putting tremecs in the camaros? How reliable are the tremecs in the camaros,anybody have a issue?
