Default please help me out guys.

98 camaro
rebuilt LS1
bbk intake
full bolt-on's
gt2-3 cam
stock 243 heads
stock 342 gears
built th350
.......ok here is the question.
i ran my car with a 3500 stall but only 1st gear feels like it pulls. i shift at 6500 rpms and everytime i shift it stays at 6500 rpms.
id like to change stall size. what stall size do yall recommend. i know the 3500 is too big since the cam is not so much a high reving cam.

please help me out. i bought a new stock th350 stall but what do yall think ?

Your symptoms don't sound like a converter failure. Something's not right with the tranny.

i also have a friend with a 3500 stall and he says the same thing happens with his car. the rpms never shift drop when he is racing at the track.
