Default trade my 2nd gen for forth gen?

i have an 80 camaro non original 350 4-speed car is it worth it to trade it for a 2000 firebird 3.8 5 speed carwith 91k?lookin for some imput

Hell no. I would never make that trade unless you absolutley need a.... i cant really think of a reason. Hell no I wouldnt.

I agree. If your 2nd gen is in fairly nice shape then sell it out right and buy a 4th Gen. Now if the frame rails are shot and the paints bubbling all over and the interior is all ratty then I would dump it.

no its a rust free body except a couple small spots in the floor seats have been recovered

For a 4th gen LS1... maybe. For a 4th gen V6... hell no. 2nd gens are some of my favorite F-bodies.

yeah was courious its not perfect but much better condition than other second gens ive seen on craigslist it has
edelbrock eps intake
new holley double pumper
k&n air filter assmbly
msd distributor
accel 8mm wires
accel header plugs
new hooker longtubes
aluminized exhaust pipes with edelbrock stainless mufflers
seats have been recovered
4-speed manual aluminum case trans new clutch
need most of the inteirer plastics
runs and drives pretty good lots of torqe

Frankly, I am shocked that you would even consider this trade seriously enough to post a thread about it.

If you want to trade for a 4th gen, look for one with a V8.
