Specialty insurance for an "Agreed Value" will have limitations (like how many miles per year allowed to drive).
Most may also require that this is NOT your primary vehicle.

I can't say who the best is....but, this is one of those things you never want to have to use

My father and I both use Grundy. They will insure just about anything "agrred value" as long as it is not your daily driver. You are also only supposed to drive it for car shows blah blah blah. I had to use them once when the hood on my '68 flew up while I was driving down the road. Damanged my hood, passenger quarter panel, cowl panel and nose of the car. They sent an adjuster out to appraise the damage and I picked the body shop I wanted to send it to, no questions asked. The body shop didn't agree with their first appraisal so after a little haggle between the body shop and Grundy the body shop won. In all I have nothing but good things to say about Grundy. Oh and the agreed value on my car is 30K and I pay about $285 a year for insurance.

As for tags... We used to have Classic, Street Rod, and Historic tags here in Md. ... I think only Historic now ?

In '08 coming home from a show (of speed ) I had someone cross the double yellow, side swipe my truck, run up on trailer (totaled), and go down the side of my Camaro
I only had $10K agreed on it and they wanted to total
I fought them since it was NOT my fault, and won.

$20K now...wheew.

Still on trailer, both axles broke...shitty cell phone pic.
