I had a 67 RS that I was restoring. I sold my first car a 1982 Camaro 400hp 350/th350 to buy it. It came with 327/powerglide. I yanked that and dropped in a 454/th400. I got about halfway done and I bought my first LT1(94 T/A M6, 94 Vette M6, and now I have what you see in my sig) . I gave my dad the car and he is finishing it now. Hopefully he will finish it soon.

Here are some of my 69¨s.
The Z28, has a crossram intake, and the xram fiberglass hood.
The Yellow one, has L34 396, Th400, AC,PW, etc.
Both cars is matching numbers, the yellow one has in addition exstensive paperwork.

I've owned more 1st Gen Camaros thru the years then I can remember. Big block, small block, SS, RS, Drop top, 4-speed, Auto...you name it, I probibly owned one.
I still retain my sweet little all original 68 RS/Z28. I love the sound of that vintage solid lift valve-train when I twist it past 6500 RPM. Its good for the soul.

67 in progress
Mine is really in the works. It's not as pretty as some of the others, but with a little imagination.... Pro touring is the current goal, until I change my mind again. This is after media blasting a good acid bath and zinc oxide primer. I use this forum for research for all of the lt1 and m6 mods, so I still haven't figured out how to get a picture in the post. I hope this works.
Don't laugh, I promise it will drive again.

Some lady found me on the internet wanting help selling her husband's '68. I don't know much about 1st Gen's, but this one appears to originally have been a plain jane '68 (no Z28 or SS badges, just a bowtie in the grill and "Camaro" on the fender).
I REALLY wanted to buy this car, but being in the military it would be difficult to drag around a 3rd vehicle right now.
She sent me pics of the car, and although I haven't seen it in person, the car is beautiful. All the expensive stuff is already done; new blue metallic paint w/ black stripes, less than 100 miles on fresh 327, Muncie 4-speed, and Ford 9" w/ 4.11's out back. The interior appears to be recently reupholstered, and she says she has all receipts and the car only needs minor trim pieces, etc. It's parked in her garage.
I have no idea if this lady is widowed or the car is some kind of divorce "royalty", but it sure needs a good home. She only wants $13,000 for it, and judging by the pics, it's worth every bit of it, actually probably a steal. The lady even said she had no idea what the car was worth.
If anyone's interested, I can email you the pics. BTW, if the INSIDE of the engine is as nice as the outside, well then whoever built this car has some money in it. It's got remote mounted oil/fuel filters on either side of an aluminum radiator, real steel braided hoses and aluminum fittings throughout; appears to be stock heads w/ an Edelbrock intake and a Demon carb on top.
