So I just bought my first camaro and it was quite the car.... for the first couple days. Now I have a problem that is getting old really fast. First off the car is throwing a P1361 code, the car runs incredibly choppy when accelerating and working through the gears. Although it seems to not be as bad when I grab a higher gear, usually one higher that needed. I was told it has an optispark distributor for a 98-02 Camaro, but it has coil packs atop the valve covers... Does that make sense? Here is a list of what was done to it, and conveniently the previous owner is now not answering his phone, what a surprise.
