meh, i dont feel like it happens anymore often in my car as it does in my truck, honestly i think people slow down and watch her roll by, so i may not get cut off as much in the Z lol. then again when im rolling around in my dually everyone in the oncoming lanes hugs the shoulder of the road.

Well after washing and detailing I go to work and I'm coming home on 45 north feeder and would u believe it, a bunch of water mixed with mud from the road construction. Had nowhere to go but through it at about 40 mph. Yep I get out when arriving at home and water spots and dried mud all over car and wheels and fender wells. Son of a b*t*h. Well so much for those 3 hours wasted on my day off.

Was 50+ degrees & sunny out. Dropped the top and took it out for a short drive and went to eat. Probably not too many days left to have it out.

Default I removed my entire interior

I went to vacuum the front carpets and found moisture under floor mat!
Needless to say I gutted the interior ,removed the carpet and have it hanging in my hot basement ,for the padding could dry out.
I just got the car , it's a convertible and I have not a clue where the water came from.
I can only make assumptions !
I will reinstall interior and hope for the best.

Hope is not a strategy....

I wouldn't put the carpet back until you located then leak, unless you don't plan on driving it in the rain or decide to stop washing it. With the interior out, should be the best time to locate it.

Hoping for a few missing ponies before I dive into the winter mod list. Gutted the cats and will spin it on the rollers one more time.

Oil pump crapped out at 55000 miles, so that means cam swap right?! Stock intake manifold is being swapped to an ls6, custom cam from Martin at Tick Performance, Brian Tooley double springs and pushrods, 60# Siemens injectors, Melling high pressure oil pump, new gaskets all around, stainless bolts and some paint on a few things to make it pretty while I'm in there. She should be a really happy mullet-mobile after all this! Once it's all said and done I'll post some before and after photos, hopefully a dyno video and sheet.

I feel your pain brotha. I grew up in maine and I can remember doing that with my 1970 challenger every winter. Now in AZ, 365 days of driving ( unless it rains ) so about 320 days of driving

i have snowmobiling as a winter pass time, which used to me my favorite season, favorite thing to do, but i lost my dad while riding last winter, so its put a significant damper on my mood for the up and coming season. we shall see......where in maine did you live?

Sorry about your dad. I use to live in Portland, northdeering area. I miss the snow, every winter I go to flagstaff ( 2 1/2 hour drive ) to play around in the snow and then drive back to phx . Its the best of both worlds I guess

Now that's cutting it close! The true definition of drive it till the snow flies!
