Thanks for the pos feedback guys. Bought the knock sensor harness and sealed it with rtv I was told it was a cheap insurance seeing as how moisture can get in and cause the sensors to fail other than that just trying to survive the cold weather need to fix the sag in my pass side door. Have been lurking on here for the past few hours and seen some nice cars really adds to the motivation that im getting closer to being done hope to have it running by june for americruise even if I have no ac/heat and rocking the primer

I was wroonggg oh so much this drivers pillar is a pain in the a** forgot that the dash is short and leaves a gap which offsets the pillars from each other the only that is making it a little easier is the use of the gauge pod heres the general mock up of it

Alright most of the harness ive gotten figured out courtesy lights are wired in full time, taillights turn signals sidemarkers gauges all light up. Need to change over the plugs for the headlights other than that the main wiring is pretty much done

Default Nice work!

Hoping to start my 3rd gen LS-1/T-56 build soon. How difficult was it to fit the 4th gen harness to the 3rd gen body? Did you have to lengthen anything? I'm not sure if you mentioned if you were going auto or t-56? I have all the big stuff but there are lots of little things to buy other then the ls-1/t-56 and various harnesses. I too am going with the 4th gen interior. Big question, do you have to smog it? I live in cali and its a big hassle here.

Going t56. I did not have to lengthen any of the wires but make sure you get a Camaro harness(unless you have a t/a) wiring will be easier to understand you'll have to splice the tail light harness into the 4th gen harness. And luckily no I don't have to smog it so goodbye cats, rear o2's, evap, egr.

Got the headlight plugs spliced in figured out why my brake lights weren't working routed the wiring where it all needs to be waiting on pedal assem to show up then looking at getting a steering column. Got rid of the blue LEDs under the dash put white ones in otherwise not much has changed

Little bit of advice for anybody doing this swap into a thirdgen the top holes where the booster goes through the pedal assem, the holes need drilled out larger i didnt know this and apparently nobody has had this problem and its just my f***ing luck or they thought it just wasnt important, thought it was just the angle i was trying to put it in nope had to pull the assem back out and drill them also the wiring harness has to routed after the master and booster are bolted in spent two hours fighting with it but its in need to run the wires for the line lock decided im going to get the hvac system now rather than later when the dash is wired in making twice the amount of work also buying a clutch master and fuel rails thats all for now
