Drove my 99 SS the other day and it drives like absolute **** right now I believe it has to be the tuning. Just wasnt tuned right in my opinion. Bucks really bad unless your hard on the throttle.

I was able to get a hold of the owner of the Corvette that traded it in and I am seriously glad I did. He gave me a list a mile long about the build of the car

West Coast Cylinder Heads did the heads at the highest build they have available
CNC Port & Polish (more then what the factory does)
1PC Solid Exhaust Valves
Bronze Valve Guides
Dual Valve Springs
C5R Timing Chain
Larger Baffle in the Oil Tank
Larger Engine Oil Cooler
ZR1 Exhaust
11:3 to 1 compression
New power steering pump
Brake Cooling Fan System
Wilwood Aero 6 Brakes
TR6's
Van Steel Suspension ($$$$)
Katech 110 Cam

Car made 625 at the crank in a shop that was 100 degrees and this was done with a conservative tune.

Bottom end is all new as well because the car apparently swallowed a valve before the build due to the factory issue with the exhaust valve on the ls7's so while the car was being built the previous owner decided to redo the bottom end. Engine actually had about 3500 miles on it when I got it.

GOOD FOR ME BAD FOR THE PREVIOUS OWNER that he ended up having to get a truck due to work purposes and the vette had to go but he ended up with a new raptor in place of it. Really nice guy, got some really cool pics from him too when he raced it at Sebring.

I had to order new pushrods for the heads. They should be in today. So hopefully this weekend I can have some dyno numbers on the As Cast 220 heads.
