I have a '98 Z28 convertible. The cigarette lighter has never worked since I got the car 10 years ago. The shifter position light went out a few days ago, so I took the center console top off today to replace that bulb. I figured since I was in there, I'd see why the cigarette lighter wasn't working. It was pretty obvious, no wires going to it. I noticed a connector that was not connected to anything that was in the same loom as the power top switch. It has a black and orange wire, but does not connect to the lighter. Does anyone know what that connector is used on??
