It actually doesn’t look bad. Going to paint your calipers red?

So I finally finished plastidipping the other two wheels about a week ago and they came out pretty good. I did end up missing the sides of some of the spokes so I'll have to go back and fix that but I doubt anyone would notice unless I pointed it out. Unfortunately when taking the car for a drive this past weekend the rear end starting making a good bit of noise and "clicking"....... so I have a feeling its on the way out :/ luckily I have a 12 bolt for it. Just need to find time to clean up the 12 bolt and get it ready to be installed.

Still haven't gotten around to installing the stripes...... recently got engaged and trying to be completely debt free before the wedding so I've cut back ALOT on random spending and put off bringing the car to get the stripes installed. My pops also recently gave me his old hoopty since he upgraded to a 2006 GMC Sierra 3500HD. I sell wheels and tires on the side and usto use my GMC for it and was the main reason I had a camper top on the truck, will now be using this truck. My pops bought this truck 6 years ago for $1300 and honestly it has been one of the best vehicles hes owned, its a 1997 Furd F150 v6 5spd manual everything. Its actually a really fun truck to drive, mainly because I don't have to worry about dents, scratches, etc.....

Since I'm trying to conserve money I'm left to tinker with what I have laying around. So after washing the 6 years of junk off of the hoopty I broke out my buffer and some compound and decided to see what that 22 year old paint had left in it....... EXTREMELY surprised with the 50/50. Granted, the truck has deep scratches and dents that no amount of buffing will remove but its night and day.

Not something I really ever thought I would do but I'll be listing the car for sale in the coming months. I've got the opportunity to purchase my pops 00 TA (white one pictured earlier) for too good of a deal to pass on.

I'm also leaving the country for 6 months, will be going to Australia for training. Should have a new to me toy by then.

If interested in the car shoot me a message on here, it will be posted in the classifieds when we're ready.

Sad and happy day. I sold my 00 SS in May of 2017. I still miss that car from time to time. I'm glad you have the TA to piddle with. Is it the white one that belonged to your Dad?

Yes, he purchased a 94 T/A with 30k miles and a fully forged 383 with a procharger so I bought the white car. We just need to find a 96-97 WS6 hood for the car! It dyno'd at 580rwhp without the nitrous...... its a very fun car to drive.

Incase anyone didn't want to search through the thread for a picture of my new car
