Default Would like to make my Corsa quieter.

Stock 2000 SS convertible with stainless Corsa exhaust. I plan to do a long road trip this summer and the Corsa loudness gets to me at speeds over 65. Any suggestions to quiet it down.

OK. Suggestion #1. Go to my local muffler shop and replace stainless steel Corsa muffler with stock Z28 muffler.

put a bullet/resonator in the i pipe. the car will get a lot tamer. although replacing the corsa isnt a bad idea, they rust out on the inside pretty frequently. i also think they sound like crap with headers and no cats but thats imo lol

I Pipe? Is that in front of the muffler? I have the sideways dual out muffler. Use a glass pack as a resonator? I found out that there is a Powerflo conversion kit to make the Loud Mouth SLP quieter. Cost about $300 with ship and the small mufflers/resonators fit beside the gas tank. A little more than I want to spend, and I don't know if there is room aft of the muffler.
