I was going to try to trade my ultra clean 30k mile, '99 z28 'vert for a 60k mile trans am that needed interior work and some repairing under the hood. But the dealer offered me 4,000 for mine and wanted 14,900 for the trans am.

I really wanted a trans am or a mbm. But not a slap in the face....

Yea!! **** that. Car dealers are such scum. I always try to **** them with stupid low offers and then just walk away. I love it

I played nice up until they slapped me in the face then I pointed out a lot of the flaws on the car.... Damn trans am doors were cracked, visors shot and the trac switch plate was hanging on by wiring and radiator support was rusty.

And he had the audacity to say that they will get $14,900 all day long.....

yeah I got kicked in the face when a dealer was only going to give me $4,000 for my 2007 Impala 9C1 with only 63k on the clock...

no holes in the roof or trunk and I fixed all the things that were broken or not right with it.. even added a factory center console and swapped over to a leather wrapped steering wheel with audio controls...

I always try my best to never mess with dealers if Im looking for a toy. Then what, you go for it and ride by a week later and that puppy would be sittin at 16,500.00 Car salesmen are nothing but snakes in the grass*

That's a ridiculous offer. I always find it fun tho looking at an fbody and walking circles around the salesman about the car and how little they always know about them.

You guys realize it's a business right? I would never trade a car in! Everyone knows you should sell it outright. Then go to a dealer for the car you want. They know they have there **** overpriced. And you have to beat them down it's a big game.

You are lucky. When my brother got his 01 Ws6 it had 48,000 miles and the whole thing was mint. Only problem it had was cracked door panels. That is why I like the my Camaro door panel. There is fabric in that location instead of plastic.
