AC bracket problem LS1 69 Camaro Need a bracket, Camaro set back style, for a LS1 in a 69 Camaro with a Heidts front frame for use with a Vintage air 709 Sanden compressor. Mounts low on passenger side. I had a stock 2010 camaro compressor and bracket mounted, and it fit fine. I got the Vintage Air bracket and it sticks out farther and will not fit. It needs to be tighter to the engine. Has anyone run into this problem? Everywhere I read it says you can't use stock compressor with Vintage Air.
